Meeting CNR-CNRS for Chemistry Sciences
January, 2019 - Rome (Italy) A brief presentation of the TRAINER activity has been delivered during an official CNR-CNRS meeting organized at the presence of the Director of the Department of Chemical Science and Material Technology of the CNR (Dr. Maurizio PERUZZINI), the Head of the Institute of Chemistry of INC/CNRS (Dr. Jacques MADDALUNO) and two delegations from both institutions. The event has also take place under the auspices of the French Embassy in Rome with the official participation of an embassy delegate (Dr. Tiffany ZILLER) and a visit to the historical headquarter of the French Embassy at Palazzo Farnese at the presence of Dr. Christian MASSET (French Ambassador). That occasion has stressed the relevance of the Italian-French cooperation activities in the area of chemical science. It has also marked the importance of scientific grants to researchers from both countries as a concrete answer for a real sharing of the scientific resources and skills among our communities. Such an approach is thought to cope with (among the other) the challenging needs of our modern society, particularly in terms of energy issues, sustainable processes and environmental concerns. |
